<\/a> Setting guidelines and regulations are proving effective in achieving gender<\/strong> equality in the corporate world: <\/strong>The European telecom sector is the only sector in the international business world in which women occupy over 40% of boardroom seats, Bloomberg<\/a> reported. The milestone comes in line with the FTSE Women Leaders Review<\/a>\u2019s target, after having called on companies in the index to have women take up no less than 40% of boardroom seats. The success indicates that imposing mandatory regulations such as gender representation quotas are effective in closing the gender gap in the business world. \u201cThere were people who thought that 33% was good enough and that we\u2019ve sorted a deficit,\u201d said the review\u2019s chief executive. The index has its eye on higher goals, with its next step targeting between 40-60% women representation in company boards to give them more flexibility.<\/p>\n

NFTs are landing on Instagram soon:<\/strong> Users will be able to display their NFTs on Instagram \u201cin the near term,\u201d Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed to Bloomberg<\/a>. Meta is currently setting up the tech infrastructure that would enable users to display NFTs on the platform, Zuckerberg said, declining to provide further details on when and how the feature would roll out.
