The minister was speaking during the International Energy Agency\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/news\/at-iea-ministerial-meeting-global-energy-leaders-vow-to-strengthen-energy-security-and-accelerate-clean-energy-transitions\">2022 ministerial meeting<\/a> which took place on 23-24 March.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other things we\u2019re keeping an eye on this morning:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Axa plans to set up a micro ins. company: <\/strong>Axa is currently <a href=\"https:\/\/alborsaanews.com\/2022\/03\/26\/1524104\">working on<\/a> the feasibility study and the final decision will likely be decided based on the final version of the Unified Ins. Act, which is currently at <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/7e965ed3-fee6-4a63-a62c-b0117813c489\">committee-level discussions<\/a> in the House.<\/li>\n<li><strong>UK-based SDX Energy <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/polaris.brighterir.com\/public\/sdx_energy\/news\/rns_widget\/story\/xped6qr\">announced a gas discovery<\/a><\/strong> at an exploration well in its South Disouq concession. The well will start contributing to production in June.<\/li>\n<li>US railway equipment provider <strong>Wabtec <\/strong>plans to make an offer to supply Egypt with the world\u2019s first <strong>battery-powered<\/strong><strong> electric freight trains<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>which Wabtec <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2021\/sep\/16\/battery-electric-freight-train-wabtec-rail-transport-emissions\">unveiled<\/a> last year.
