The plant will consume 4 mn tonnes of waste a year, between organic waste and non-recyclable plastic and in return will produce 300k tonnes of green hydrogen annually.<\/p>\n<p><strong>#2- Affirma Capital and StonePine are now minority owners of Nerhadou: <\/strong>Emerging markets private equity firm <a href=\"https:\/\/affirmacapital.com\/\">Affirma Capital<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stonepine-capital.com\/\">StonePine<\/a> have purchased a \u201csignificant minority\u201d stake in Egyptian pharma player <a href=\"http:\/\/nerhadou.com\/\">Nerhadou International<\/a> in a USD 20 mn transaction, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2022\/2\/01-02-2022-Nerhadou-International-Press-Release-FINAL-English.pdf\">press release (pdf)<\/a>. The offering would be a revival of Taqa\u2019s initial plans to IPO <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/70d5ed14-509a-4f44-a084-c72a5e41346a\">back in 2020<\/a>, which covid derailed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"grey-line\">\n<p><strong>HAPPENING NOW-<\/strong> The House Local Administration Committee is looking into the effects that implementing the <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/f2fa1641-48dc-4615-8302-e5ae1fab6df6\">law regulating<\/a> parking attendants (sayess) has had on improving traffic flow and creating revenue streams for state coffers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE BIG STORY ABROAD- Everybody\u2019s gaze is fixed firmly on Ukraine, where a slew of<\/strong><strong> foreign leaders are scheduled to arrive<\/strong> over the next several days in a show of support for Kiev in the face of what increasingly appears to be an imminent invasion from Russia. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the foreign ministers of Germany and France are among those flying to the Ukrainian capital in the \u201cflurry of diplomatic activity\u201d in a bid to reach a detente, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/nato-leaders-stream-to-ukraine-showing-support-as-russia-masses-troops-11643657492?mod=hp_lead_pos4\">Wall Street Journal<\/a> reports.
