<\/a> The US is <\/strong>now advising<\/a><\/strong> its citizens to avoid travel to Egypt due to rising <\/strong>covid <\/strong>cases.<\/strong> Egypt was among 22 countries \u2014 including Israel, Qatar, Bahrain and Australia \u2014 added to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)\u2019s \u201clevel four\u201d watch list yesterday, indicating a \u201cvery high\u201d risk of covid, Reuters<\/a> reports. The CDC now has more than 100 countries at level four.<\/p>\n

The Health Ministry <\/strong>reported<\/a><\/strong> 1,303 new covid-19 infections yesterday<\/strong>, up from 1,232 the day before. Egypt has now disclosed a total of 402,611 confirmed cases of covid-19. The ministry also reported 26 new deaths, bringing the country\u2019s total death toll to 22,205.<\/p>\n

China will send another 10 mn doses of Sinovac to Egypt <\/strong>\u201cin the coming period,\u201d the Health Ministry quoted<\/a> China\u2019s ambassador to Egypt as saying yesterday.
