DHL Express is investing EUR 24 mn to establish its largest distribution center in <\/strong>Egypt <\/strong>in partnership with Hassan Allam Holding\u2019s Yanmu, the company said in a statement (pdf)<\/a>. The new hub will be built in Yanmu\u2019s East Cairo Logistics Park and is set to become a key part of DHL\u2019s regional expansion across the Middle East and Africa.<\/p>\n

The details: <\/strong>The facility spans 13k sqm, with 11k sqm of built-up space. Once completed, it will double DHL\u2019s operational capacity in Egypt, accommodating more vehicles and enabling faster pickup and delivery times. The company expects the expansion to support a 27% increase in business volume by 2035.<\/p>\n
