The core message of the campaign, which is being run for the ministry by our friends at Tarek Nour Group\u2019s DDB: <strong>Investment by private-sector businesses creates jobs and opportunities all the way up the value chain<\/strong>, from cotton to readymade garments at retail, from brickmakers to finished residential communities.<\/p><p><strong>It\u2019s fundamentally a bright day when the government starts talking not just to investors<\/strong><strong>behind closed doors<\/strong> (the members of the cabinet economic team have become polished and very much on-message) <strong>but to the public at large about why investment is a good thing<\/strong>. Better still, it sends the right signal to the domestic business community, who will have to lead the way by committing to growth and expansion if we expect foreign strategic investors to follow suit. Some of the companies that qualified for the project objected to the ministry potentially offering less than the <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2017\/05\/30\/education-ministry-to-tender-51-pieces-of-land-for-200-schools-ppp-project-in-mid-june\/\">51 plots previously agreed upon<\/a>, unnamed government sources say.
