Several hotels, such as the <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marriott.com\/en-us\/hotels\/caimn-marriott-mena-house-cairo\/overview\/\" style=\"\">Marriott Mena House<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, assign students to a department of operation, such as food and beverage, kitchen, or the front desk, enabling students to explore the practical side of operations in action, Mena House General Manager Omar Tantawi told Enterprise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">Unlocking potential with training programs: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Professional learning and development companies target fresh graduates according to their capabilities and areas of interest. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700;\">There are a couple of examples of programs that prepare students for the market, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;font-weight:700;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/OEProfessionalLearning\/\" style=\"\">Orchid<\/a><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;font-weight:700;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/OEProfessionalLearning\/\" style=\"\">Education<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:700\"> has been offering training programs to fill the skills gap between academic education and the workplace<\/span><span> since 2011, founder and Managing Director Iten Elorabi told us. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">The programs usually last between 3-6 months, depending on the fields they choose to specialize in. They have \u201cWork Readiness\u201d programs to prepare students with knowledge and skills to obtain a job in high-growth career industries. Entrepreneurship tracks in the program include business <\/span><span>chall<\/span><span>enges that expose students to complexities of real-world business <\/span><span>management<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. They are also taught how to budget their financing through the financial literacy program. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;font-weight:700;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/aspire.com.eg\/\" style=\"\">Aspire Training Solutions<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> is a training and consultancy company whose expertise lies in integrating the educational phase with the market phase.
