Pushing the headline figure up into the green for only the third time since November 2020 was an uptick in new orders and output amid easing cost pressures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Growth is now at its quickest pace <\/strong><strong>for<\/strong><strong> five years<\/strong>, increasing 1.9 points <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/272a98fd-8af5-4ec5-83cc-fce010addbc1\/non-oil-private-sector-contraction-eases-in-october\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">from the month<\/a><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/272a98fd-8af5-4ec5-83cc-fce010addbc1\/non-oil-private-sector-contraction-eases-in-october\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">before<\/a> to 51.1 and comfortably above the 50.0 threshold that separates growth from contraction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>T<\/strong><strong>he uptick in activity was seen across every sector economy, bar one. <\/strong>While the manufacturing, construction, and services sectors all reported an increase in activity, wholesale and retail stood out as the only sectors to see activity decrease over the month. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>T<\/strong><strong>his bodes well for a \u201cstrong end to 2025<\/strong>,\u201d said S&P Global Senior Economist David Owen.
