Wednesday is in the hospital following her fall in the midseason finale, where she enters a dreamlike state only to find out her spirit guide is none other than Principal Weems (Gwendolyn Christie) \u2014 who seems to enjoy the idea of taunting Wednesday in the afterlife a little too much. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>While the first half of the season was disappointing <\/strong>\u2014 given its fragmented narrative and confusing plot lines \u2014 the second half quickly proves it\u2019s not here to play, allowing us a sliver of hope that perhaps the final act would make up for an initially underwhelming season. Investors are shifting from outsourcing to building independent factories and production lines, particularly in the Suez Canal Economic Zone\u2019s (SCZone) Qantara West.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Total Turkish FDI in Egypt has now surpassed USD 3 bn, spread across some 1.7k companies<\/strong>, Beshay said. This includes around 200 factories in textiles, garments, and chemicals, concentrated in the 10th of Ramadan, Sadat City, and the SCZone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Four Turkish factories worth USD 200 mn are currently under development in the <\/strong><strong>SCZone<\/strong>, a source in the zone\u2019s projects sector told EnterpriseAM. This includes 10 companies in Sokhna (USD 508 mn) and eight in Qantara West (USD 285.8 mn).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Why Egypt? <\/strong>Financing challenges at home are driving Turkish expansion abroad, with banks in Turkey cutting off lending to several industrial sectors, particularly textiles and light industries, a source at the Egyptian-Turkish Business Council told EnterpriseAM. Investors are turning to Egypt as an ideal production base, supported by its EU partnership agreement and long-term European supply commitments. Low investment requirements in textiles have eased setup, and the sector is set to evolve from initial outsourcing into full-scale manufacturing for exports by year-end, the source said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>More projects in the pipeline<\/strong>: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/klepsan.com\/en\/index.html\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Klepsan<\/a> will establish Egypt\u2019s largest <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/28a6f14b-f368-4167-bc67-31b1e248e666\/alstom%25e2%2580%2599s-borg-el-arab-railway-manufacturing-complex-gets-the-green-light-from-gov%25e2%2580%2599t\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">sanitaryware plant<\/a> plant in the 6th of October, Beshay said. The 30k sqm facility is expected to break ground in October, following the receipt of land licensing, with an initial USD 7\u201310 mn investment (c. EGP 400 mn). It will produce water meters and valves to localize manufacturing.
