Despite the growth, the pace remains insufficient to hit the Paris agreement target of 11.2 TW in renewables by 2030. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Solar and wind remained the heavy lifters in 2024<\/strong>, jointly accounting for 96.6% of all new renewable capacity.
