The expanded plant \u2013 now spanning over 100k sqm \u2013 will have an annual production capacity of 12 GW, with a 35% local content certification, the statement adds. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>What we know: <\/strong>The factory \u2014 PV Hardware Middle East \u2014 produces PV structures, solar tracking systems, and robotic cleaning devices, all locally made, according to a separate <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pvhardware.com\/pvh-opens-its-first-manufacturing-middle-east-branch-in-saudi-arabia\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>. The facility obtained both service and manufacturing licenses from the Saudi government, allowing it to also train and equip local manufacturers to make PHV subassembly parts. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REFRESHER- <\/strong>PVH is a global provider of solar trackers and mounting services, and it has been contracted to supply parts for several projects in the region. Last March, the company announced it would supply Saudi Arabia with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/climate\/en\/news\/story\/93cfd03d-1ec6-4ad4-9a13-cda3b136e8e1\/saint-gobain-10-mw-solar-powered-glass-factory-in-progress\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">957 MW<\/a> of solar trackers for Ar Rass Solar PV Park. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\">\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Egypt\u2019s <\/strong><strong>AMOC launches USD 2 mn wastewater treatment project:<\/strong> Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) has completed a USD 2 mn project for treating wastewater contaminated with phenol pollutants, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/egyptoil-gas.com\/news\/amoc-launches-2m-wastewater-treatment-project-with-cutting-edge-technology\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Egypt Oil & Gas Group<\/a> reported. The plant was funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the National Bank of Egypt (NBE).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\">\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">CONSERVATION-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Nabat to deploy AI, robotics solutions for mangrove restoration in Abu Dhabi:<\/strong> Climate tech startup <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nabat.ai\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Nabat<\/a> and the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency will use AI and autonomous robotics solutions to ramp up mangrove restoration efforts, aiming to make them more data-driven and efficient, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaoffice.abudhabi\/en\/environment\/environment-agency-abu-dhabi-partners-with-nabat-to-conserve-and-restore-mangroves-in-the-emirate-using-ai-techniques\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>.
