The project will target the local market as well as exports to North Africa, the Middle East and Europe, with an export capacity of up to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/climate\/en\/news\/story\/ba900f2e-713e-47fb-a1b5-18d5eedfa60a\/egypt-signs-green-sector-agreements-at%253cmark%253e-china%253c%2Fmark%253e-africa-forum\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">240k tons annually<\/a> \u2014 including for both flat and PV glass \u2014 and projected export revenues of up to USD 120 mn annually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>We knew this was coming: <\/strong>China Glass signed an agreement to set up the factory as part of a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/climate\/en\/news\/story\/ba900f2e-713e-47fb-a1b5-18d5eedfa60a\/egypt-signs-green-sector-agreements-at%253cmark%253e-china%253c%2Fmark%253e-africa-forum\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">slew of agreements<\/a> slated for the TEDA trade zone signed during the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation back in September. Other agreements made at the forum include a USD 100 mn factory for N-type solar cells built by Elite Solar, and a USD 500 mn green chemicals facility by Befar Group that will utilize renewables and
