The FRA-listed EBDA\u2019s offsets are part of the organization\u2019s Minya Comprehensive Project for carbon offsets. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>More could be coming: <\/strong>The Cabinet said the sale represents a \u201cfirst phase\u201d of a \u201clarger\u201d transaction that will be announced later. It is unclear whether the sale will include other players or not, and there are no details on the total number of credits. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REMEMBER- <\/strong>Egypt <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/climate\/en\/news\/story\/bb862a2e-5810-456c-866b-d21975211515\/egypt-officially-launches-africa%25e2%2580%2599s-first-carbon-market\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">officially launched<\/a> its voluntary carbon trading market \u2014 the first in the country and Africa \u2014 in August. The market allows companies to issue and trade voluntary carbon certificates in Egypt and Africa, which can be bought by other companies wanting to offset their emissions.
