UAE-Norway energy partnerships in the pipeline:<\/strong> Several agreements and MoUs were signed between Emirati and Norwegian firms during Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan\u2019s meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr St\u00f8re, Wam<\/a> reports. The talks centered on enhancing economic, trade, and investment cooperation across key sectors.<\/p>\n

First up, Masdar: <\/strong>The state-backed renewable energy firm signed a strategic framework agreement with Eqinor to strengthen collaboration on existing projects, such as the <\/span>Hywind Floating Wind Farm in Scotland<\/a>. The company also signed an MoU with fertilizers manufacturer <\/span>Yara<\/a> to explore investment opportunities along the Power-to-Green Ammonia value chain<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s more:<\/strong> Masdar inked another MoU with Aker Horizons focusing on joint development and investment in the Power-to-Green Hydrogen value chain to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors. The company also inked an agreement with Aker-backed ICP Infrastructure<\/a> to identify green energy infrastructure investments in Europe, including possible collaborations in renewables in the Nordic Region.<\/p>\n
