The project, to be implemented by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority subsidiary Etihad Clean Energy Development Company, will build on the existing solar installations at Dubai International (DXB), which have already cut energy consumption at the airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">The details: <\/strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">The project will see 63k panels installed across both DXB and Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International (DWC) airports, with a total installed capacity of 39 MW of clean energy. The solar panels are expected to generate 6 GW of energy annually, cutting the airports\u2019 carbon emissions by 23k tons every year. The initiative is set to supply 6.5% of DXB\u2019s electricity needs and 20% of DWC\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">ELECTRIC VEHICLES-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Nio taps into the MENA region via the UAE:<\/strong> Chinese EV manufacturer <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nio.com\/?noredirect=\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Nio<\/a> partnered with Abu Dhabi-owned smart mobility-focused investment firm <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyvnholdings.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Cyvn Holding<\/a> to launch its brand in the MENA region, with the UAE chosen as the initial market for its EVs, the company said in a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nio.com\/news\/20241005001\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>.
