Seres\u2019 luxury EVs to hit UAE\u2019s roads:<\/strong> China backed, US-based automaker Seres<\/a> and car dealership Green Motors UAE<\/a> have entered a partnership to introduce Seres\u2019 luxury electric vehicles (EVs) the Seres 5<\/a> and Seres 7<\/a>, according to a press release<\/a>. Seres specializes in developing e-power train technologies, battery systems, and electric cars and has operations in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. <\/p>\n

About Seres 5: <\/strong>The five-seater <\/span>Seres 5<\/a> comes in two versions: All Wheel Drive (AWD) and Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD). The AWD model has a range of 1.13k kms, can go from 0-100 km\/h in 4.4 seconds, and a 358 kW electric motor. The RWD model has a range of 1.175k kms, takes 7.1 seconds to accelerate to 100 km\/h, and is equipped with an 196 kW electric motor. Both cars can charge from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes and have a battery capacity of 40 kWh. The price tag currently stands at at least AED 189k.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seres 5 SF: <\/strong>The Seres SF<\/a> has a two wheel (2WD) and four wheel drive (4WD) version. The 2WD has a combined driving range of 500 kms, can go from 0-100 km\/h in 6.8 seconds, and has a 220 kW electric motor. The 4WD model has a range of 483 kms, takes 4 seconds to accelerate to 100 km\/h, and is equipped with an 430 kW electric motor. Both cars can charge from 20% to 80% in less than 42 minutes and come with a battery capacity of 80 kWh. The 4WD model also comes with a 90 kWh capacity. The price tag currently stands at at least AED 195k. <\/p>\n

About Seres 7: <\/strong>The Seres 7<\/a> can come as a five or six-seater car, with both AWD and RWD options. The AWD has a combined driving range of 1.05k kms, can go from 0-100 km\/h in 4.8 seconds, and has a 323 kW electric motor. The RWD has a combined driving range of 1.15k kms, can go from 0-100 km\/h in 7.8 seconds, and has a 196 kW electric motor.
