The shift \u2014 which marks the first time since 2018 that a US company has become the world\u2019s most valuable solar manufacturer over a Chinese competitor \u2014 comes as First Solar\u2019s shares jumped 1.5% raising its market cap to USD 21.5 bn while Sungrow's fell 4.2% valuing it at around USD 20.8 bn.
