Globeleq will be partnering with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/gilaelectric.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Gila Altawakol Electric<\/a>, the plant's co-shareholder and operations and maintenance contractor. The plant is located next to Globeleq\u2019s 66 MWp ARC solar plant at the Benban Solar complex.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\">\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">EMISSIONS-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Bapco <\/strong><strong>receives bids for GHG consulting contract: <\/strong>Bahrain's Bapco Energies has received bids from eight firms for a consultancy contract to enhance its greenhouse gas (GHG) management and reporting practices, according to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tenderboard.gov.bh\/OpenedTenderDetails\/?id=254\/2024\/BTB%20(RFP\/NGH\/2024\/04)&source=New&envelope=TQ\/PB\/PQ&type=1\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">RFP details<\/a> posted on the Bahrain Tender Board website. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting a gap analysis of existing GHG inventories for Bapco's various operational divisions, updating these inventories, and consolidating them into a comprehensive report. The bids, which were opened on Monday, range from BHD 19k to BHD 54k.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\">\n<p class=\"tag-border-left\">CONSTRUCTION-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Partanna <\/strong><strong>deploys carbon-negative concrete in Saudi: <\/strong>Chemical manufacturing company Partanna has completed a test run of its carbon-negative concrete technology at Saudi Readymix's facility in Jeddah, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/partanna.com\/news-hub\/partanna-and-saudi-readymix-forge-a-new-milestone\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>. The test demonstrated seamless integration of Partanna's binder with Saudi Readymix's aggregate, producing concrete blocks without traditional <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/topics\/engineering\/portland-cement\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Portland Cement<\/a>, the main cementitious component of foamed concrete. The blocks met the Saudi standards (SASO) after third-party testing by <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/aces-int.com\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">ACES<\/a>.
