<\/a>A CEPA between UAE, NZ is happening:<\/strong> UAE Minister for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi discussed with New Zealand\u2019s Trade and Export Growth Minister Damien O'Connor deeper economic collaboration through a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two countries, Wam<\/a> reported on Friday. Al Zeyoudi said that the two countries share a vision for boosting cooperation across key sectors including agriculture, renewable energy, and healthcare.<\/p>\n

And two UAE CEPAs have already come into force:<\/strong> Two of the UAE\u2019s CEPAs with Turkey and Indonesia came into force on Friday, Wam<\/a> reports. Both CEPAs will help eliminate or lower tariffs on several goods, remove trade barriers, and pave the way for investments in priority sectors like energy, logistics, food production, e-commerce, and others. The CEPAs with Turkey and Indonesia mark the third and fourth by the UAE after the roll-out of CEPAs with Israel<\/a> and India<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One more coming up?<\/strong> The UAE and Vietnam are also expected to sign a CEPA this year, Vietnam\u2019s Ambassador to the UAE Nguyen Manh Tuan told Wam<\/a> in an interview. \u201cVietnam and the UAE are accelerating the negotiation of CEPA, which shall give great impetus to two-way trade between the two countries,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
