Not Japan\u2019s first foray into MENA renewables:<\/strong> Jera signed an MoU with Mubadala-owned renewables firm Masdar in January<\/a> to explore joint hydrogen production potential. Adnoc CEO \u2014 and newly-appointed COP28 President \u2014 Sultan Al Jaber also signed an agreement in the same month for bilateral cooperation<\/a> on decarbonization technology with Japan\u2019s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Yasutoshi Nishimura.<\/p>\n

Taqa is drumming up capital to fuel expansion plans: <\/strong>The company revealed plans to issue \u201cseveral USD hundred mn\u201d of green bonds in 2023 for specific projects earlier this week<\/a>.
