This is the first time the Gulf country conducts a green ammonia feasibility study. The solar-powered project would produce renewable fuels at Enoc\u2019s existing facilities. The companies are also looking into exporting the produced green ammonia to Japan and other Asian countries, as well as selling it locally to feed electricity or fuel ships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALSO- South Korea\u2019s <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.doosanenerbility.com\/en\">Doosan Enerbility<\/a><\/strong><strong> was awarded a USD 1.2 mn contract to build a <\/strong><strong>nuclear turbine island for Egypt\u2019s Dabaa nuclear power plant<\/strong>, according to a company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.doosanenerbility.com\/en\/about\/news_board_view?id=21000510&page=0&pageSize=9\">statement<\/a> on Thursday. <a href=\"https:\/\/home.kepco.co.kr\/kepco\/EN\/main.do\">Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power<\/a> had signed a contract in August to construct El Dabaa\u2019s turbine island, and subcontracted the construction of the building to Doosan, the statement notes. Nuclear turbine islands house the units that convert thermal energy into electricity within nuclear plants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some 15 leading South Korean energy companies left the UAE with several<\/strong><strong> renewable energy projects worth a combined USD 104 mn<\/strong> in the pipeline during the second edition of the Korea Energy Week UAE, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zawya.com\/en\/press-release\/events-and-conferences\/korean-firms-bag-over-aed-385mln-deals-at-korean-energy-week-from-uae-uotfb9nn\">Zawya<\/a> reported on Friday.
