Wind turbine blades are made of resin-coated fiberglass that often end up in landfills when they reach the end of their use cycle because of difficulties separating the fiberglass from the resin coating. The MSU scientists developed a new resin that can be dissolved and used to help make a range of other products, including candy, sugary drinks, car tail lights, windows, laptop covers, diapers, and countertops \u2014 or new wind turbine blades, according to the MSU researchers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
