Scatec is looking at a 3 GW wind power project, while FFI is eyeing the production of 9.2 GW of renewable energy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MEANWHILE- Bechtel-led coalition to study unified power system of Egypt\u2019s Idku Energy Hub: <\/strong>Shell Egypt, the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company and Malaysia\u2019s state oil company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petronas.com\/\">Petronas<\/a> commissioned US engineering company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bechtel.com\/\">Bechtel<\/a> to study merging the power systems of a gas field and LNG export terminal in Egypt\u2019s northern Idku, which if implemented, would reduce the plant\u2019s emissions, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.co.uk\/news-releases\/shell-egas-and-petronas-award-idku-energy-hub-project-feed-to-bechtel-led-coalition-814525968.html\">statement<\/a> by Bechtel.
