The initiative led to the establishment of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stripe.com\/climate\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Frontier<\/a>, a fund with over USD 900 mn from companies like Alphabet and Meta Platforms, which makes advanced-purchase commitments to startups that deliver verifiable carbon removal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>So what can be done? <\/strong>Companies like Stripe are addressing this by creating a fellowship program to find new buyers and encouraging government purchases of removal services, Bloomberg adds.
