This law enables the state to seize any earnings obtained through unfair competition and false advertising.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>REMEMBER- California initially <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/climate\/en\/news\/story\/12a65d3c-3825-47d2-9a57-75f7f7a96829\/today:-sawiris%25e2%2580%2599-backed-oci-global-signs-an-offtake-agreement-with-us-green-hydrogen-developer-new-fortress-energy\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">filed a lawsuit<\/a><\/strong><strong> last year against the oil majors for causing USD <\/strong><strong>bns<\/strong><strong> in economic and environmental damages <\/strong>by misleading the public on the impact long-standing fossil fuel extraction has on the economy and communities.
