but the <\/strong><strong>Chinese climate envoy is set to visit Washington today. <\/strong>Xi Jinping's Special Envoy for Climate Change Liu Zhenmin will join US top climate diplomat John Podesta in Washington today and tomorrow for a meeting of the bilateral Working Group on Enhancing Climate Action in the 2020s, according to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/united-states-hosts-prc-special-envoy-for-climate-change\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> from the US Department of State. Discussions will revolve around topics outlined in the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/sunnylands-statement-on-enhancing-cooperation-to-address-the-climate-crisis\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Sunnylands Statement<\/a>, which include plans to cooperate on the energy transition, methane and other non-CO2 greenhouse gas production, the circular economy, and resource efficiency. Depending on the outcomes of the study, the ministry <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/climate\/en\/news\/story\/70c0f839-8bb0-4189-ab2a-503c46c8b2b1\/\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">will enter into a framework<\/a> agreement followed by a final agreement to kickstart the project\u2019s development. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong>Details remain scant:<\/strong> Construction for the giant plant is set to take 3 to 4 years, the statement said. The project plans to integrate technology for producing green ammonia and hydrogen from desalinated seawater. <\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><strong><a id=\"wwtt3\"><\/a>#2- The Iraqi Parliament will soon vote on a bill regulating the country\u2019s renewables <\/strong><strong>energy sector<\/strong>, member of the parliament\u2019s Electricity and Energy Committee Kamal Anid Al-Kaabi told Iraqi news outlet <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/economy-news.net\/content.php?id=43129\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Economy<\/a><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/economy-news.net\/content.php?id=43129\" style=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> in an interview.
